This image of Elgol Sunset was made in May 2012 during my trip to Scotland with my fellow photographers friends +Nuno Fontes Nunes and +Miroslav Jelinek . Elgol is a village on the shores of Loch Scavaig almost at the end of the Strathaird peninsula on the Isle of Skye, in Highlands. The northern end of the loch is ringed by the chain Black Cuillin, often wreathed in cloud.

Today with both +Miroslav Jelinek and Mikolaj as well as with Alfonso and Tom we were for the sunrise at a different place but this time sooooo much fog and then a … sport event at Irrel Falls. Once I am ready I will show you 2-3 images of this weekend sunrise hunting escapades

The Sauer (German, Luxembourgish) or Sûre (French) is a river in Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany. A left tributary of the river Moselle, its total length is 173 km.Rising near Vaux-sur-Sûre in the Ardennes in southeastern Belgium, the Sauer flows eastwards and crosses the border with Luxembourg near Martelange. It forms the border between Belgium and Luxembourg for 13 km north of Martelange. West of Esch-sur-Sûre it flows into an artificial lake, the Upper Sûre Lake, which gives its (French) name to the Luxembourgian commune of Lac de la Haute-Sûre. The Upper Sûre Lake (Luxembourgish: Stauséi Uewersauer, French: Lac de la Haute-Sûre, German: Stausee an der Ober-Sauer) is a large reservoir in north-western Luxembourg. It is the largest area of water in the country. It gives its name to the commune of Lac de la Haute-Sûre, which was formed in 1979.The Upper Sûre dam was built in the 1960s to meet Luxembourg’s drinking water and electricity needs. The town of Esch-sur-Sûre nestles at one end of the lake. Immediately above it, the river has been dammed to form a hydroelectric reservoir extending some 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) up the valley. Its average surface area is 3.8 km2 (1.5 sq mi), or about 0.15% of Luxembourg’s total area.Surrounded by luxuriant vegetation and peaceful creeks, the lake is a center for water sports, such as sailing, canoeing, and kayaking. Such outdoor activities, which make it an attractive spot for tourists, has led to the growth of a local crafts industry. The lake has a very high level of water quality.
